My photos

1. The main subject is grapes.

2. I took this picture because I was washing these grapes and thought they were so pretty. I thought "I'll get my camera!" And I did. It made it better than some of my other pictures, because I didn't go looking for it, it just found me.

3. By it taking up the majority of the photo and being in focus.

4. Framing.

5. The little black part in the corner could be taken away.

1. The main subject is Sarah.

2. I took this because the idea popped into my head, and Sarah was easily able to do it. It made me happy that it actually worked. I didn't know if it would.

3. Well, there is kind of two main subjects, her feet, and her body. It brings attention to her body by being framed, but to her feet by them being biggest in the photo.

5. The white in the background could be less white.

1. The main subject is the tree.

2. I took this picture because I saw it out the window, and loved it, so I ran and grabbed my camera before the sun went all the way down. The sky was such a pretty color, and the tree against it was so pretty. It was all misty outside. I loved takingg it

3. It is the darkest part / the background is all one color.

5. I could have had more of an angle on it.

So, there are some things that I like to do.  One of them is going barefoot. I think it matches the way I like to live... free :D

Another one is singing.  I love to let music come out of my mouth... (although it's not always the greatest:)  I also like hearing others sing.

Which leads into the fact that I like to dance...   

I like being with people like friends.  It's fun to do all kinds of things together.

If I had to play one instrument, it would be the drums... oh, that's because I do.

Yay for spending time with my family!  (My sister is missing from this picture)

Lampost!  Mr. Spur, you know all about that now :)

I like being outside!  Especially when water is involved!

And also, I like to smile.  

(Hurrah for ridiculously cheesy things!)

Story Book

Once upon a time, there was a lonely street.  On this street walked a family who was very tired, sad, and hungry.  

They arrived at this small, rundown, shack of a motel.  They wanted to find some food, but there were no restaurants in town, and they were tired.  As they were thinking of this, they walked into an elevator.  They were much taken by surprise because the elevator did not at all match the feeling of the hotel.  There was something strange and unrealistic about it.  Mother hesitated to push the 3rd floor button... but she did.

All of the sudden, the elevator started moving!  And not the normal kind of elevator movement, more like a rocket ship or something!

They started screaming, and they could not tell what was going on.  They knew they were not going to be in Kansas anymore once this was over!

They screamed and screamed, and finally felt an outrageous jostle.  (AKA they landed)

The "elevator" door dinged and opened

to reveal a marvelous faraway land.  There were colorful trees above them.

They hopped out and saw all of these incredible pink trees.  

They were like giant flowers.

As they pondered where they were, and what this mysterious place was,

the spotted a building.

This building was like none they'd ever seen before.  

It was colorful, warm, and looked inviting.  They decided to go inside to see

if they could find out anything about this place.

Just as they were about to open the door, a peculiar 

inhabitant of the whimsical building

poked her head in the window.

She invited them in for a cup of fea.  They 

all assumed that she meant tea, 

but little did they know...

That she really meant fea.

She had a crazy look in her eye as she 

made a mixture that frightened

all of them.

They were so afraid that they cried, "Please, just spare us!"

But she only replied,

"My goodness, could you just have a little patience, it hasn't been taking me that long."

They inferred that she thought they knew what was going on,

but they knew that they had no idea.  So they waited patiently.  She finally finished her concoction.  She then explained that fea was a mixture used to repair the elevator so that it goes to the 3rd floor.  

"It kind of malfunctions sometimes."

This made them all the more curious as to what this strange land was...but for some reason, they all liked the wonder.  It was fun for them to not understand.  So they didn't ask.

The kind woman instructed them on how to fix the elevator,

and also informed them that they best hurry, because if the 

elevator is malfunctioning like this for too long, this world

could be destroyed forever.  They said they would hurry 

for her, and she gave them each a cup of fea, and tea,

and gave them a warm, kind goodbye.  

They walked back through the pink trees, fixed the elevator,

pushed the 3rd button, and landed right on the 3rd floor.

This whole event somehow brightened their entire outlook, 

and they enjoyed the rest of their trip.
